Salsa criolla is a sauce that originated in Peru but has become incredibly popular within Argentine cooking. It's fresh and tangy, making it the perfect accompaniment to many beloved Argentine dishes. Quick and simple to make, and composed of ingredients you'd find in almost every kitchen, it's a staple in households across Latin America.
It's the perfect way to elevate a dish - whether that's steak, grilled vegetables, or simply enjoyed with tortilla chips. It can be adapted and adjusted to suit different tastes, but here's the recipe for how we like to make it.
