We’re thrilled to announce a new and exciting chapter for our estancia a partnership with the Córdoba Agricultural University, one of Argentina’s leading institutions in livestock genetics and sustainable agriculture. This collaboration marks an important step forward in our ongoing mission to strengthen the quality, diversity, and resilience of our herd.

As part of this initiative, we have recently welcomed two outstanding bulls from the University’s breeding program. These animals represent some of the most carefully selected bloodlines in the region prized for their structure, temperament, and genetic potential. Their arrival brings an infusion of new genetics that will help us continue improving both productivity and adaptability within our herd.

Transitioning from the university’s plains to our rocky, hilly terrain has been a learning experience for the bulls and we arecarefully monitoring their adjustment to the new topography whilst they find their footing on the slopes of the Sierras Chicas. Step by step, they’re adapting beautifully, showing the strength and intelligence that made them stand out in the first place.

This season, we’ve selected the top 50 cows from our original herd to be paired with the new bulls. These cows were chosen for their strong maternal traits, health, and proven performance making them the perfect match to produce the next generation of calves. With this combination of proven local genetics and new bloodlines, we’re looking forward to a promising calving season ahead.

Our partnership with Córdoba Agricultural University is more than an exchange of livestock it’s a collaboration built on shared values of innovation, sustainability, and genetic excellence. Together, we aim to develop a herd that thrives in our unique landscape while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and productivity.
