What an amazing year 2017 was for us here at Los Potreros and here are just a few of our favourite images from the year. All photos are by Lou Begg.
Lou took her camera out to take some pictures of a ride, but on the way a storm swept in. This image was taken as the last of the sun before the storm hit was still on the fencepost and this gorgeous burrowing owl.
Not surprisingly the gauchos on their horses provide some of our favourite material to photograph through the year. Add in some dust from the corral and a glorious sunset and we can capture shots like this!
At the beginning of the year we had a film crew visit to help us with our new promotional video. An early start and we set up the ultimate photo shoot - all 130 of our horses galloping through one of the fields at sunrise.
Lou was out wandering in the fields trying to catch the horses when she looked over and saw the late evening light catch the pampas below the hills.
We love visiting local festivals with our guests and the Candelaria every year is one of our favourites. The annual festival provides a unique opportunity to see the rural community come together for one of their major celebrations of the year.
And literally too many sunsets to count. This was taken on one of our sunset/moonrise rides - a truly special evening.
